Nelly Ontiveros

I'm a journalist and digital media professional, passionate about telling stories that reflect today's world. 

I worked at The Wall Street Journal as a social media editor, leading WSJ's social platforms and developing strategies to maximize reach and engagement. Before that, I was a digital producer for the Orlando Sentinel, managing its homepage, crafting push alerts and reporting on the latest news.

I'm a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where I served as the editor in chief of NSM Today, UCF's student-run newspaper. My previous experience includes reporting internships at the Orlando Sentinel, the Orlando Weekly and Central Florida Public Media.
